I moved to Houston, October, 1971 from NY. Houston had NO good radio station, I stumbled on to 102 as they were on the starting line, had no DJ's, but played GOOD MUSIC none stop all day which was a joy to hear lots of jazz so I thought it was a jazz station until DJ'S came on the scene, 102 began jamming, made me forget about WWRL in NY. i LOVE 102 and ALL OF IT'S Dj's past and present, expecially KANDI and UNCLE FUNKY. SHOW'EM WHAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH , 102 YOU GOT IT GOING ON!!!

getting movement music, that is very good. Just Awesome and I've listened to 102.1 for about (20) twenty years. I'm still in love with all the DJ's. EJD Jewel.

i was listening to yur program this morning talking about the importance of the continent of africa. i want to also retrospect on the personalities as well. i want you to briefly discuss about the 2004 arthur ashe award winnner George Weah and Nelson Mandela about their indelible mark they left not only on the continent of africa but around the world as well.
