The music heard on Caroline Community Radio will be familiar to people who've grown up listening to Radio Caroline. In its years at sea, Caroline
played music, always in tune with the times. In the 1960s it was pop, Motown and Atlantic soul because that's what wasn't being heard on British radio at the time. In the 70s it was albums, because albums were hugely popular and no other radio station was playing them. And in the 80s it was the best of both plus what was new and exciting at the time.
So, we now play the music that Caroline listeners remember hearing from our days at sea plus newer material that we would have played from the ship, if we hadn't been so rudely interrupted by events at sea back in the day?
"If you listen, it sounds like Caroline". It's for the Caroline Community - new as well as veteran.
