WDVL is a commercial radio station that is a direct outlet to on-campus students through broadcast via the campus cable network (television channel 5); and webcasting onwww.FredoniaRadio.com. Also, WDVL is the oldest radio station in the SUNY system. WDVL has taken to provide an effective learning environment for those interested in pursuing a career in the ever changing broadcast industry. WDVL broadcasts the nationally renowned student program, High Noon Friday which is a segment based variety program with content provided by students of SUNY Fredonia’s Intermediate Audio Production Class taught by Dr. Laura Johnson. Also keep an ear open the daily Morning Inferno which brings you all of your latest news, weather, dining hall menus, community events, contests and more! WDVL still upholds regular radio content such as student produced news, weather, community calendars, campus dining menus; all the while emphasizing a musical format adhering to Top 40, Pop and Rap standards that funnel into the Final Countdown on Friday Afternoons.
