i work for fairpoint. i work in the next highest paid UNION job. the information received from fairpoint about this so called average pay of employees being $115,000 is a lie. AS a person in the second highest paying position within the union, i make about HALF that as average pay. the only positio see more... n above in a paygrade makes ALMOST $100 per week more. this is per the contract. most employees do NOT make that kind of money. only those working in dangerous situations and with special skills make that money. most make about $200 less per week than those of us in these higher paid positions. unless the company is referring to the average MANAGERIAL or UPPER MANAGEMENT positions, then they are blatantly hoping that you spread this crap in order to sway public opinion of the union workers. perhaps they believed that all union workers were liberals and would never listen to your station.... that, however, is untrue. though it is not your fault that this rumor was spread, perhaps it should be updated. pay grades for all union employees are clearly listed in the union contract book, which most people can easily access or get a copy of their own. there is only ONE way for a person even in MY position to come home with that money in a year, and that is to work tremendous amounts of overtime. we can only do this if there are hurricanes, ice storms, blizzards, wind damage, flooding, or other types of weather causing damage to plant....being sent to another location to assist in work the other location is unable to handle with their current work force ...overtime scheduled for delayed work or work that is lagging behind. and ONLY if we work this throughout the year almost every week...

If Rush weren't so famous for twisting the facts to support his own view and the views of the right, then I'd be inclined to say he has every right to be there. As Votaire said, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." I do believe those words, but I see more... think Voltaire assumed that one would at least speak the truth and not try to twist the truth so much to your point that you outright lie. I agree with most of the libs and cons, let market forces decide. If major companies are pulling out because of what he says, then maybe he should rethink how he reshapes the truth. Good luck, Rush. To WGAN management: Please, PLEASE do not cave to several MOONBAT opportunists -with nothing better to do- who would jump at any chance to get rid of Limbaugh (or 'Limbo', as they so 'intelligently' say it).
