See more of Almavision, which is a Spanish-language Christian television network. Its previous affliation were America's Store Network, Hispanic Television Network (HTVN) and American Independent Network. KTVP-LP is owned by Mako Communications LLC of Corpus Christi, Texas. It started broadcasting in 1992 as relay transmitter K56FF, channel 56, changing call signs when it upgraded to a low-power television station in 1997 by owners ATN Network, Inc. when they transferred the station to Hispanic Television Network Inc., who placed their programming on the station. Mako Communications LLC bought the station in August 2001, and started broadcasting the America's Store shopping channel on channel 64 in 2002, the channel being changed when a different local channel acquired 56. In 2006, Mako changed its channel to the current 22, also changing its affiliation to Almavision at the same time.
