In addition to its America One programs, WYLN produces and airs local public affairs programs, local newscasts, local sporting events, and, as a proud community station, it airs annual telethon for the Helping Hands Society and the Greater Hazleton Chapter of the American Cancer Society. WYLN changed to its current call sign in 1996, and it has been previously affiliated with The WB, now known as The CW.
