Communications. It is an affiliate of Univision, a United States network of Spanish language programming. Univision started as KWEX-TV in San Antonio, which began as KCOR-TV in 1955, the first full-time Spanish-language station in America and the first UHF station in the country. Univision operates its own television production company called Univision Studios, which produces original content for the network and national news programming. Univision also includes programming from Mexican broadcast network Televisa and Venezuelan broadcast network Venevision.
